The market and opportunity for the Orrex single-use power equipment is large and growing. Injuries to the musculoskeletal system (orthopedics- bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, tendons) rank number one in visits to physicians’ offices. Approximately 7.5 million orthopedic procedures are performed by physicians each year. Surgeons use Orrex’s products for heart procedures, knee surgery, reconstructive and trauma procedures, total hip, long bone trauma surgery, orthopedic osteotomies and other bone cutting procedures. Additionally, Orrex products provide orthopedic surgeons with sterile, reliable devices with continuous power (DC- direct current) and no down time.
